Unauthorized distribution of copyrighted material, including unauthorized peer-to-peer file sharing, may subject individuals to civil and criminal liabilities.

Nondiscrimination Policies

    U.S. Department of Education, Institute of Education Sciences and National Center for Education Statistics website to help students search for and compare colleges including JCCC.
  • Net Price Calculator
    An interactive calculator for prospective and current students and their families that provide estimated net price information using Cost of Attendance minus estimated aid based on what similar students paid in a previous year. The FAFSA must be completed to be eligible for and receive Federal student aid funds once all required school-requested documents have been submitted.

Student Activities

Transfer of Credit Policies, Transfer Agreements and Study Abroad

    Information for high school students taking college courses as it pertains to transferability.
  • Study Abroad
    Students who are enrolled in credit courses, in a JCCC-approved eligible program of study abroad, will be considered as enrolled at JCCC for the purpose of applying for federal student aid.

Intercollegiate Athletic Program

Co-educational institutions that have intercollegiate athletic programs must make certain information available to current and prospective students and to the public, as well as to the Department of Education. The intercollegiate athletic program participation rates and financial support data (Equity in Athletics Disclosure Act (EADA) contains information including athletic income and expenditures, male and female undergraduate enrollment by sport, salaries and gender of coaches, and completion/graduation and transfer-out rates for students receiving athletically-related student aid.

JCCC’s athletic aid graduation and transfer rates as well as the intercollegiate athletic program participation rates and financial support data (Equity in Athletics Disclosure Act) can be found on our Athletic Department website.

Student Financial Assistance

Types of assistance available from Federal, State, Local, and Institutional programs, the penalties for drug law violations for federal financial aid students, and student loan information for loan counseling, Institutional Code of Conduct for Education Loans, preferred lender lists, and preferred lender arrangements.

Student Loan Information

When a potential student, student, or parent of a student enters into an agreement with JCCC regarding a Title IV, HEA loan, the information will be reported to the National Student Loan Data System (NSLDS), and it will be accessible by guaranty agencies, lenders, and institutions determined to be authorized users of the data system. Borrowers can access their student loan information through StudentAid.gov.

Other Required Disclosures and Congressional Initiatives

  • Constitution Day (Congressional Initiative)
    JCCC celebrates this day on September 17 of each year, commemorating the Sept. 17, 1787, signing of the Constitution. If the date falls on a weekend, the event will be held during the preceding or following week. Campus announcements using JCCC website and other electronic media will be posted to inform the campus community of scheduled events.   • Voter Registration
    Electronic or paper registration forms are made available to students prior to federal elections and state elections for governor. Individual emails are sent to all enrolled students prior to registration deadlines.

  • Public Notice of Title VI Program Rights: Johnson County Community College gives public notice of its policy to uphold and assure full compliance with the nondiscrimination requirements of Title VI of the Civil Rights Act of 1964 and related nondiscrimination authorities.
