JCCC strives to foster a safe, equitable and inclusive campus environment for all. To that end, the College works to continuously improve its sexual harassment and misconduct prevention, education and response efforts.
JCCC’s Sexual Assault Resource Team was formed to support the College’s prevention, education and response initiatives. Its ultimate goal is to stop relationship violence from occurring, in support of Title IX, the Violence Against Women Reauthorization Act, the SaVE Act and the Clery Act.
Unfortunately in today’s world, incidents of sexual harassment and sexual misconduct can and do occur. Help is available if you or someone you know has experienced:
- Sexual harassment
- Sexual assault
- Dating/domestic violence
- Stalking
YOU ARE NOT ALONE.
If you're on campus, call the JCCC Police Department at 913-469-2500 (913-339-6699 TDD/TTY).
If you are off campus, call 911 for immediate assistance.
