Cary Short is an information system pro!

Cary Short is an information system pro! Cary feels a sense of satisfaction sharing knowledge. He hopes he inspires people to improve technical skills for success professionally. He received a Bachelor’s Degree in business administration and a Master’s Degree in Information Systems. He currently teaches advanced Microsoft Office courses for the Continuing Education department. He loves being an instructor and can’t imagine doing any other job that brings more joy.

Outside of the classroom he enjoys tinkering around with his car, home and electronics, but Cary’s knowledge certainly isn’t limited to the IS/IT field. He can play Chopin on the piano and even knows how to knit! He is an avid reader, particularly of sci-fi/fantasy, but appreciates mysteries and biographies as well.

He has been married for 27 years and raised three children, four dogs, one cat and various other animals he has rescued over the years. His dream would be to own a motorhome and travel around the US and Europe.
