Wondering how to get things done at the college while the campus is closed? New to online learning?

All campus functions are available online through email, instant message advising, ZOOM tutoring sessions and more. Our staff and faculty are available to help you end the semester strong.

Online learning is a convenient way to take JCCC classes.

With online classes, you'll enjoy increased flexibility while pursuing your education.

Keep in mind, online is not the same as self-paced. Assignment instructions and deadlines are clearly communicated by your instructor throughout the semester.

Have questions about JCCC, but don’t know where to get answers during the campus closure?

Attend one of our virtual Admission Information Sessions via Zoom, at 10 a.m. and 2 p.m. Monday through Friday.

See Campus Visit for the Zoom meeting link.

All in-person recruitment activities, including group and individual tours, are canceled through at least the end of May. Explore our virtual tour to experience our beautiful campus from home.

Admissions will continue to process applications for admission and incoming high school and college transcripts.

Email the Admissions office with any questions.

To ensure the safety of our students, their friends and their families, there will be no commencement events on campus in 2020.

Though a virtual celebration won’t replace an in-person ceremony, we’re working to create a memorable, meaningful web-based commencement recognition that will help students mark this moment in their education with friends and family.

In official recognition of academic accomplishments, all diplomas for students who have completed their degrees or certificates for Spring 2020 will be mailed within five weeks after the semester ends.

The interactive JCCC Commencement web page will be live to access on graduation day, May 22. In addition, students will be able to request commemorative graduation memorabilia through the website.

Updates to Drop Date and Pass/Fail Option Dates for Spring 2020

Out of care and concern for the personal circumstances and academic achievement of every student, the College is implementing two policy changes for this semester:

  • The last day to drop a credit course with a “W” for Spring 2020 classes that are currently still in progress as of April 27, 2020, has been extended to Friday, May 22, 2020.
  • The last day to convert a passing grade of D or higher to a P (pass) grade for any Spring 2020 course has been extended to December 1, 2020. A pass grade option allows you to receive credit for the course and will not affect your GPA. See the Pass/Fail Grade Option page for additional details.

These deadline extensions are available to help students with their academic planning and decision making.

Summer 2020 Enrollment

Enrollment for 8-week online classes for the summer semester begins Monday, April 20. See the summer academic calendar
