What will I learn?

From courses in theatrical design and technology to acting and directing, you will find the foundation for pursuing a degree in theater.

You will participate in the prestigious Kennedy Center American College Theater Festival. Past students consistently advance to the semi-final round of the Irene Ryan Acting Auditions and receive accolades for their work in dramaturgy, stage management, playwriting and design.

Consider a performance track or a technical track to an associate degree. You can also be set up for the next level with a bachelor’s degree. JCCC annually hosts college transfer auditions which are attended by numerous four-year institutions.
