JCCC faculty and students have won many national awards and honors through the Kennedy Center American College Theater Festival. The Theatre Department also reviews each year's productions and honors students with various awards for excellent work.
KCACTF is a national theater program involving 18,000 students from colleges and universities nationwide which has served as a catalyst in improving the quality of college theater in the United States.
JCCC Lifetime Achievement Award
Selected by the faculty, these awardees have shown themselves to be outstanding among their peers.
Selected by the faculty, this recipient is honored for having a minimum 3.5 GPA and is actively pursuing further education.
Faculty choose the recipient for the Best Understudy Award based on commitment to the responsibilities of the understudy.
The Stage Rat Award recognizes the many hours, hard work, and creativity of those who support our productions backstage.
Students and faculty select the best representation of design, technical work, acting, directing, and production.
