Paying for Food

Eat well, save money.

Get healthy, delicious food when and where you want it with flexible payment options. Cash, credit, and debit cards are accepted at all JCCC Dining Services retail outlets.

Need a little extra help with meals this semester? The Cavalier MealSHARE Program is here for you. This supplemental meal assistance program supports eligible students facing food insecurity and demonstrating extreme financial need. The application window is July 15 -Aug. 15.

Dining Dollars is the fastest, most convenient way to pay for food at a café or the food court. For every dollar you add, we’ll reward you with an additional 5%. No minimum, no maximum, every dollar gets 5% added to it.

Dining Dollars are accepted at the food court, the Market, Stacks, Encore, Café Tempo, and in the vending machines.

The more you use Dining Dollars, the bigger your rewards.

Students can move financial aid over to Dining Dollars upon disbursement, too, and get the same rewards.

Your JCCC ID is the way to save money every day!

How to add Dining Dollars

  • See any cashier in the food court or any café.
    • Bring your payment and ID.
  • Online for Students, Faculty, and Staff:
    1. Go to the Atrium campus portal
    2. Click on Student & Staff Login at top left
    3. Click Make a Deposit
    4. Agree to terms and conditions
    5. Add your credit card
    6. Select Dining Dollars (JCCC Dollars are not eligible for 5% reward)
    7. Pick the amount you want to add
    8. Enter your email
    9. Continue to Payment and follow on-screen prompt
  • To grant someone guest access to your account:
    1. Go to the Atrium campus portal
    2. Go to Personalize and select Grant Guest Access
    3. Click Add
    4. Enter the guest's email address
    5. Select the features and permissions you want the guest to have
    6. Scroll to the bottom of the page and click Add
    7. Your guest will receive an email with the subject line Guest Access with their own login credentials, including a password, allowing them to securely access the account

  1. Put Dining Dollars or JCCC Dollars on your JCCC ID
  2. Bring your own reusable mug to the Food Court or any participating Cav Café and fill it with your favorite brew or fountain drink (up to 20 ounces).
  3. Pay with your JCCC ID.

Purchase a CavCard at ShopJCCC  or in person at the Bookstore or the Bursar's Office, SC 113.

To add funds to your CavCard

  1. Log in to MyJCCC
  2. Find the Resource Student card and select My ID card to enter the JCCC ID portal
  3. Select “Make a Deposit”, and acknowledge the terms and conditions
  4. Enter the 8-digit card number in the bottom left corner on the back of the CavCard
  5. Select either JCCC Dollars or Dining Dollars.
  6. Enter the amount and an email address to receive a receipt
  7. Click “Continue to Payment” and follow the prompts to load your card
