Whether you are beginning your motorcycle training adventure, or ready to conquer your next two-wheeled offroad challenge, JCCC has the course for you. All courses follow approved Motorcycle Safety Foundation curricula.
All offroad motorcycle training will take place at our offroad training site in Tonganoxie, Kansas.

Designed for riders ages 6 and up, the MSF Dirtbike School is a great place to start your motorcycle journey, or explore a whole new type of riding for those who already ride on the street. JCCC provides off-road motorcycles for this half-day, hands-on training.

Eligibility and requirements
The MSF Dirtbike School classes are open to students 6 years of age or older. No license or permit is required to participate in this off-road training.
For students younger than 18, both the student and a parent must complete and sign the required forms prior to the start of class, and the parent must remain on site for the duration of the training.
- Prerequisite skills: All participants must be proficient in riding and balancing on a two-wheeled bicycle. This is a physically active class; students must be in condition to handle a motorcycle and have balance and coordination.
Motorcycle training supplies
What JCCC provides:
- Approved dirtbikes ranging in size from 50cc to 230cc. Student height will be requested at the time of registration so we can assure a properly sized motorcycle is available for all riders.
- Dirtbike specific motorcycle helmet, sizes extra small to 2XL
- Goggles
- Gloves
What students must bring to class:
- Long-sleeved shirt or jacket
- Long, durable pants that allow no exposed skin, non-baggy, no flares or tassels, no leggings or yoga pants
- Sturdy boots or shoes that cover the ankle
- Food/beverages for breaks
Students will be dismissed from the course if they present a danger to their safety or the safety of others during any exercise or are suspected to be under the influence of alcohol, prescription or non-prescription drugs or any other substance that could impair their performance in the course.

The MSF Adventure Bike Course is open to licensed students with a valid motorcycle endorsement ages 16 and older. Students must supply their own dual-sport or adventure motorcycle along with proof of insurance.
The MSF Adventure Bike course is designed for current riders who want to advance their skills and improve their safety.

- Dual Sport or Adventure motorcycle with current insurance
- DOT-approved helmet
- Long-sleeved shirt or jacket
- Long, durable pants that allow no exposed skin, non-baggy, no flares or tassels, no leggings or yoga pants
- Sturdy boots or shoes that cover the ankle
- Motorcycle gloves
- Food/beverages for breaks
