Pursuant to Employee Benefits Policy – 419.00, the Board of Trustees (the Board) determines the type and scope of all employment benefits and leaves (i.e. Health and Welfare, Retirement, Miscellaneous Benefits and Leaves).

The Board reserves the right to change, amend or terminate any of the benefits or leaves at any time.

A list of the current benefits and leaves provided to eligible employees, along with detailed explanations of each, can be found under JCCC Benefit Information below.

Administration of such benefits and leaves is delegated to the Office of Human Resources.

It is the employee’s responsibility to take whatever actions are necessary to gain or continue eligibility or entitlement to employee benefits and leaves which may be available to the employee.

Benefits effective date for new hires are dependent upon hire date. If your hire date is between the 1st and 15th of the month, your benefits will begin the 1st of the following month. If your hire date is the 16th to the last day of the month, your benefits will begin the 1st of the following consecutive month (i.e. hire date July 7th, benefits start August 1st; hire date July 22nd, benefits start September 1st).

Non-current employees may access W2s and/or pay stubs.  Please be aware that if you had not previously elected to receive your W2 electronically, your W2 will be mailed to the home address we have on file.
