Applicability: This Policy applies to all Johnson County Community College (“JCCC” or the “College”) employees.
Purpose: The purpose of this Policy is to describe how employment benefits are determined and administered by the College.
Statement:
The Board of Trustees (the “Board”) will determine the type and scope of all employment benefits (e.g. health and welfare, retirement, paid time off leave, and miscellaneous benefits as determined by the Board) as allowed by law. The Board reserves the right to change, amend, or terminate any benefit at any time. Administration of such benefits is delegated to the Office of Human Resources.
It shall be the responsibility of an employee to take whatever actions are necessary to gain or continue any eligibility or entitlement to employee benefits and leaves that may be available to such employee.
