Dean of Students Office

The Dean's office has a team of student services professionals who bring a wealth of experience and passion for student success. They are dedicated to supporting you throughout your academic journey. Whether you need assistance with a personal issue or an on-campus concern, or just want to get more involved on campus, the Office of the Dean of Students is here to help.

  • Student Life & Leadership Development, Get Involved @ JCCC through events, student clubs and organizations, and leadership opportunities. Engaging in campus activities is a great way to build connections and enhance your college experience.
  • Student Rights and Responsibilities handles student conduct cases and provides education on community standards.
  • Supported Education offers two programs designed for adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities — CLEAR and CONNECT.

The Dean of Students and Learner Engagement Office offers guidance and support to help students navigate personal and academic challenges. Our team is here to listen, provide resources, and advocate on your behalf.

  • Title IX: We address issues related to gender discrimination, sexual harassment, and sexual violence, ensuring compliance with Title IX regulations, and providing support for affected students.
  • Religious Modifications: We provide accommodations for students’ religious practices and beliefs, ensuring they can participate fully in their educational experience without compromising their faith.

  • Student Basic Needs Center: The mission of the Student Basic Needs Center is to provide information and resources to combat the hardships which adversely affect the ability of JCCC students to complete their academic, professional, and personal development objectives.

JCCC students are expected to adhere to the Student Code of Conduct and to all specific conditions of participation in any College-sanctioned activity, event, or program, including but not limited to behavioral conditions described in contracts and agreements for athletic, academic, and extra-curricular scholarships and activities. Student participation in College-sponsored activities, events, and programs is considered a privilege and not a right.
