The Center for Teaching and Learning at JCCC supports faculty-driven collaboration, growth, innovation, and scholarship to increase student success in the classroom and beyond.

Representing academic and career programs, the Center for Teaching and Learning (CTL) faculty fellows are experienced teachers who are responsible for performing the following duties:

  • Conduct and share research to identify best practices for promoting student learning
  • Provide mentoring and resources for faculty
  • Host discussions and workshops on important topics in pedagogy
  • Design and facilitate New Faculty Orientation (NFO)

Full-time and adjunct faculty fellows serve two-year terms, allowing for a variety of ideas, experiences, and contributions from experienced faculty across the curriculum.

The Center for Teaching and Learning space on campus, located in LIB 372, will open in Spring 2024.
