Become an expert in the commercial construction delivery process through JCCC’s Construction Management program.

Learn to oversee a construction project from start to finish:

  • Identify the requirements for a new facility
  • Determine how to manage the construction
  • Understand how to manage the completed facility

You can earn a degree, the 63-credit-hour Associate of Applied Science in Construction Management Technology. Or enhance your existing construction experience with our 28-credit hour Construction Management Certificate, which allows you to get your education while you continue to work.

Why JCCC for Construction Management?

JCCC is one of just a handful of schools — even counting four-year institutions — where you can complete the program and be prepared to take tests for three professional certifications.

  • Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED) Green Associate Certification (a credential in high demand as more building sites seek LEED certification)
  • Construction Document Technologist (CDT) Certification

Benefit from small classes taught by faculty who have degrees in construction or engineering science and years of industry experience. You can also:

  • Network with advisory board members to learn more about careers in the field
  • Visit job sites to experience the construction process firsthand
  • Visit with guest speakers for more insight into the industry
  • Join our student chapter of CSI (Construction Specifications Institute), which is closely aligned with the Kansas City CSI chapter
  • Intern with an employer for 3 elective credit hours and get hands-on experience that could lead to a future job position
