GED® Test Preparation

You can take GED® classes to prepare for the GED® test through the Johnson County Adult Education Program.


The first step is to attend a new student orientation session and register for GED® classes. Call 913-469-7621 for fall registration dates and information.

If you are under 18

If you are 16 or 17, you must provide a high school attendance disclaimer form from the public high school in the school district where you currently live. Contact your high school, your school district administrative offices, or the Johnson County Adult Education office at 913-469-7621 for more information.

Distance Learning

If traditional class times don't fit your needs, call the JCAE office. We may have an instructional model to meet your needs so that the majority of your studying may be done online.
