Tutoring and Resource Centers
Academic Achievement Center
The AAC, located in OCB 304, is a resource for any JCCC student who needs help with class material. While other JCCC resource centers focus on a specific content area (such as writing or math), the AAC works with you to improve your ability and readiness to learn.
Language Resource Center Tutoring Information
The Language Resource Center (LRC), located in GEB 316, is an instructional lab supporting the speech, foreign language, and interpreter training departments. The LRC provides a schedule of tutors for different languages.
Math Resource Center
Any student enrolled in a course offered by the JCCC math department may use the Math Resource Center, located in CLB 212. Tutors are available any time during the center's regular hours.
Science Resource Center
The Science Resource Center (SRC) is located on the 1st floor of the CLB building and is available to any JCCC student who is enrolled in a biological or physical science class during the current semester.
Located in LIB 308, the Writing Center is a free student and community support center created to assist writers with reviewing, refreshing, and upgrading their writing skills. You can receive one-on-one help or enroll in a topical class.
