The 2025 Foundation Impact Report features facts, figures, and—most importantly—stories of how donations and support for Foundation events continue to provide scholarships that lift financial barriers for students. Here are just a few highlights.
- Read about how Spencer Duncan’s family honored his sacrifice in Afghanistan by setting up a foundation that has given more than $125,000 in scholarships to JCCC student veterans.
- Celebrate a record $1.635 million raised at Some Enchanted Evening. Then mark your calendar to be part of the event’s 40th anniversary celebration on November 14!
- Share in honoring 2025 Johnson Countian of the Year, Jon L. Stewart. His impact includes establishing the Cohen Community Series whose proceeds have raised $1.2 million for JCCC scholarships and educational programs. The series features an internationally recognized artist such as Lee Brice in 2025. Jon joins a long list of community members who have received the award for their impact on the College.
- Learn about all the ways—beyond scholarships—the Foundation supports the JCCC community:
- Teaming up with the Nerman Museum of Contemporary Art to support exhibits like the museum’s blockbuster A Match Made in Heaven: Katherine Benhardt x Jeremy Scott.
- Partnering with the Midwest Trust Center to cultivate donor and sponsor relationships for continued support of arts education and world-class performances that reach thousands of students and attendees.
- Gatherings such as the biannual scholarship luncheons celebrating scholarship recipients; Harvest Dinner, which supports JCCC’s Sustainability program; spring and fall community socials connecting the Foundation and College with hundreds of donors; and the Summer Sips & Scholarships casual networking event, which raised $15,000.
