Parents of eligible dependent undergraduate students may borrow with a Direct PLUS (Parent) loan up to the yearly cost of attendance -- as determined by JCCC -- for each child. The amount borrowed may not exceed the cost of attendance minus any other financial aid the student may receive. Direct PLUS loans are processed through the federal government. They are unsubsidized loans, so the parent borrower is responsible for interest during the life of the loan.
Parents – be sure to have your student provide permission for us to speak with you by completing an Authorization to Release Information form.
