Grant for College Now and Quick Step Plus College Algebra
JCCC is awarding a grant to qualifying high school students in College Now and Quick Step Plus College Algebra. Similar to scholarships, grants are considered a gift and do not need to be repaid. You’ll need to meet certain requirements and demonstrate financial need to be eligible for the grant.
If awarded, the grant can cover tuition costs for up to two classes at your high school. To be considered, enroll and submit the application before the semester enrollment deadline.

Excel in CTE
Excel in CTE allows JCCC to waive the cost of tuition for high school students who meet JCCC Kansas residency requirements for enrollment in any tiered career technical course.
The Kansas State Senate passed Excel in CTE (formerly known as SB 155) in May 2012. Textbook, program fees and any other additional fees may apply.
College Now courses that qualify for Excel in CTE are noted on each high school's schedule.
To find on-campus classes that qualify:
- Go to the Credit Class Schedule search.
- Select a term (e.g. Credit Spring 2020).
- Use the "Advanced Search" link.
- Click in the "Attributes" field and choose "SB 155 Excel in CTE."

Payment Plans
JCCC offers payments plans to assist students in paying their tuition and fees. Plans are offered for Fall, Spring and Summer credit terms.
