Accreditation and School Affiliation

JCCC Interior Design is an NKBA (National Kitchen and Bath Association) accredited program and is also a NKBA founding Affiliated School. NKBA Affiliation is recognized as a resource for students to train for this lucrative/creative field and to the design industry as a source of skilled, specialized professionals educated according to NKBA Standards and Guidelines. Affiliation increases professional development opportunities for faculty, provides research and scholarship opportunities for students with exposure on the award-winning NKBA web site, attracting more than 500,000 visitor sessions a year.

NKBA Perks for JCCC Interior Design Students

Students who graduate from the JCCC Interior Design program not only receive an AAS in Interior Design, but are uniquely qualified for NKBA’s certification examinations and immediate employment in the kitchen and bath industry. Additional interior design student benefits are often no cost exam fees for the AKBD (Associate K and B Certification), a sponsored NKBA professional student chapter membership, and free access and entry badges to KBIS (Kitchen and Bath Industry Show) each year.
