Professor Emeritus, Emergency Medical Science
Bob Parker is a professor emeritus and previously was one of the primary faculty responsible for the paramedic training programs at Johnson County Community College in the Emergency Medical Services department, as well as the clinical coordinator. He previously taught in all levels of the EMS program at JCCC. Mr. Parker developed the EMT Practicum program in 2010 and the EMT I-D program in 2002.
Mr. Parker was born in New Jersey and studied business management at Northeastern University, graduating in 1974 with a degree in management. Mr. Parker moved to the Kansas City area in 1975 and worked in retail management until 1989 when he began a full-time career in EMS, working for Miami County EMS and AMR Topeka.
