Phil Giegerich BA, Paramedic
Assistant Professor, Emergency Medical Science
Phil Giegerich is one of the primary faculty responsible for the paramedic training programs in the Emergency Medical Services department at Johnson County Community College.
Mr. Giegerich is a graduate of the 2004 MAST paramedic program and spent 12 years in the fire service as a paramedic, engineer and captain, as well as developing and implementing CEUs for EMTs and medics. He became an adjunct instructor in 2006 for Children's Mercy hospitals, where he taught PALS, PEARS, ACLS and BLS to faculty and staff in addition to teaching Friends and Family CPR to patients, families and care providers.
Mr. Giegerich joined JCCC in 2018 as full-time assistant professor.
