Student Senate is your voice for all aspects of your education at JCCC.
Made up of five executive officers and 25 senators at-large, Student Senate provides government representation for the student body and allocates funds to student organizations. In addition, Student Senate works with the Center for Student Involvement to provide support and guidance to JCCC’s student organizations.
So let Student Senate support you. Share your comments, concerns, and issues with us. We are here to serve you! Student Senate meets each Monday from noon to 1 p.m. in RC 270 during the fall and spring semesters.
Seeking Nominees for the 2017-18 Executive Board
If you are a student looking to be more involved on campus, consider joining the 2017-2018 Student Senate Executive Board.
Student Senate is now accepting nominations of students interested in serving as president, vice-president, secretary, treasurer or parliamentarian. If elected, candidates must have a minimum GPA of 2.5 and be enrolled in a minimum of 12 credit hours throughout their terms. For a full list of requirements or to apply, please complete the 2017 Executive Board Election packet. The deadline to apply is Friday, March 24.
Current senators can also run for re-election. To apply, please complete the 2017 Senator Re-Election packet.
