Public Safety Training Center

The Public Safety Training Center provides sworn officers programs in law enforcement that meet state mandated continuing education (training hours) requirements.

Specialized areas of study available for law enforcement, fire services personnel and emergency medical technicians (EMTs) are leadership, ethics and stress management.

Also at JCCC

The Johnson County Regional Police Academy, located on the JCCC campus, provides basic law enforcement training for law enforcement officers from more than 30 agencies in the suburban Kansas City area.

The Emergency Medical Science (EMS) program prepares students to work in the field of emergency medical services, and the Fire Science program is for those interested in starting a career in that field.
