College Readiness Bridge Classes

Before you can register in the following classes, you need to meet with a JCCC counselor or advisor form Access Services to talk about the College Readiness program and the classes that are right for you. You'll find the counselors and Access Advisors in the Student Success Center on the second floor of the Student Center on the JCCC campus. You can make an appointment by calling 913-469-3809.

  • Counselors must refer you to the appropriate class.
  • Students currently enrolled in high school are ineligible.

Bridge Classes - Spring 2015

Reading and Writing Improvement - Language Arts helps you develop vocabulary, comprehension and writing skills.

The classes are 16 weeks long and coincide with the regular academic semester at JCCC. It is recommended that you complete the course before retesting to determine if you are ready for college-level courses. The fee for the 16-week course is $100. To register, call 913-469-2323 or visit the office in RC 173. Payment is due at the time of registration.
