Instructors have provided the following information to generally describe what to expect in their classes.

French

Teaching style
Lecture and demonstration, in-class practice, conversation, group and paired activities.

Homework, participation and attendance
Attendance /participation: 10% of grade (two excused absences)
Homework: checked, corrected or collected each class meeting
Quizzes: in class (to check homework) or take home (new grammar practice)

Tests and quizzes
Four-five chapter tests, final exam and oral interview: 50% of the grade. You may make up one chapter test.
