K.S.A. 45-215 et. seq. declares and states that records are open for inspection by any person, except those public records specifically exempted from disclosure.
The Open Records Operating Procedures are to be followed when requesting access to and obtaining copies of public records. These Procedures are designed to provide access to public records, provide assistance and information upon request, protect public records from damage and disorganization, prevent excessive disruption of the college's essential functions, and insure efficient and timely action in response to requests for inspection of public records.
