    Gain insight and information about fields of employment, employers and strategies for pursuing a career in various majors. Pick up printed fliers in the Career Development Center or check them out online.

    Check out tons of careers, majors and activities that match what you like to do. Create an account on this website, add membership code JCCC19 and you're ready to go and can enjoy access to lots of helpful resources.
  • Vocational Biographies
    Visit the Career Development Center to access subscriber content. Choose from 1,001 career stories of real people in a variety of traditional and newly emerging careers. Each quick story includes education and work history as well as required education and training, job description, salary and job outlook.

    This comprehensive database provides in-depth information about colleges and universities around the world.

    Gain current regional or specialized insights through a one-on-one appointment with a professional in a career that interests you. Talk to a Career Information Specialist to learn how you can take advantage of this opportunity.
  • Job Shadowing Program
    Observe local professionals to learn more about the day-to-day experiences on the job.
  • Volunteering/Service Learning
    Develop skills, network and research job environments. Service Learning integrates community service with college coursework.
  • Part-Time Work
    Explore part-time career opportunities. Search our JobLinks database or the many job boards around campus and in the Career Development Center for part-time jobs with local employers.
