The JCCC STEM Poster Symposium is an event to showcase student research and projects.
JCCC students will present their research or projects in a conference-style poster session.
- Research or projects may be from individuals, small groups, or entire classes.
- Student projects or research may have been completed as any of the following:
- an assignment within a STEM course at JCCC
- an Honors project
- independent research or study
- Student work must have occurred under the supervision or guidance of a current JCCC faculty member
The goals of the symposium include:
- Providing students an opportunity to showcase their research or project in a conference setting
- Building confidence in communicating STEM-related information
- Providing students with feedback from judges who are experts in their fields
- Providing an opportunity for students and faculty to collaborate
- Providing an opportunity to stimulate interest in STEM-related fields
