Participants, their friends, families, classmates, faculty, our sponsors, and the general public are all invited to the 3rdJCCC JSF Awards Ceremony April 24, 2027 from 1-5 p.m. at Johnson County Community College in the Hudson Auditorium (Nerman Museum of Contemporary Art).
The event will feature music and audience games (with prizes), and, on the break, complimentary sushi and Japanese snacks will be available in the adjacent Café Tempo.
After all participating shorts are screened, we’ll have a break for Japanese games in the adjacent Atrium and complimentary sushi and Japanese snacks in the Café Tempo. When we return to the Hudson, we’ll present this year’s awards for Best Script (Anime), Best Script (Live Action), Best Acting (Live Action), Best Voice Acting (Anime), Best Original Idea (Live Action or Anime), Best Technical Work (Live Action or Anime) and Best All-Around 2027 Japanese Shorts Festival Film.
