Customize your professional development needs!
For this year’s conference, you can choose workshops that correlate to your professional development needs.
Combining the Simulation Operations Needs Assessment Tool (SONAT) and the Simulation Educator Needs Assessment Tool (SENAT), a Simulationist Needs Assessment has been developed for the conference.
This is a self-assessment to determine where you may have gaps in your simulation knowledge, skills, or behaviors.
The survey takes three minutes. Upon completion, your results (responses) will be displayed. You can also email yourself the results.
Review your responses and reflect on areas of need for professional development. Then, determine three conference workshops you want to attend to fill your identified gaps.
Each of the survey questions correlate to one of the five workshops presented at the conference. For example, Workshop 1 corresponds to content from Question 1, Workshop 2 corresponds to content from Question 2, and so forth.
Workshop Options
Based on your assessment results, you can choose three of the five workshops during the registration process:
- Workshop 1: Awareness of Professional Standards (Jarrod Young)
- Workshop 2: Best Practices and Contributing to the Advancement of Healthcare Simulation (Matt Charnetski)
- Workshop 3: Healthcare Simulation Topics for Operations Specialists (Phillip Wortham)
- Workshop 4: Healthcare Simulation Topics for Simulation Educators (Kim Leighton)
- Workshop 5: Choosing the Right Tool: Aligning Simulation Modalities with Learning Outcomes (E.B. Floersch)
You may complete the survey prior to the registration process, or you will be prompted to complete during the registration process.
