Start preparing for your next steps after graduation while you’re still in high school. Follow each step of our Career Ready application process and you’ll be on your way to rewarding learning opportunities and hands-on experiences in your chosen field!

How do I apply for a Career Ready program?

  1. Let your high school counselor know you are interested in the Career Ready program.
  2. Interview for the program with your high school/district counselor. You will be notified if you get into the program as seats are limited.
  3. Attend a mandatory orientation in April at JCCC.
  4. Enroll in your Career Ready classes.
  5. Start learning!

Career Ready Application Timeline

Career Ready Information Family Night (late January)

Take the first step in pursuing your career. Bring your family and we’ll walk you through the Career Ready program process. You’ll have a chance to meet our faculty, tour our facilities, and ask any questions you may have. We’re happy to help!

Career Ready Advising (February-March)

Meet with your high school counselor to map out your Career Ready journey, should you be selected as a Career Ready student.

Career Ready Orientation (April)

Learn the program expectations and guidelines for your Career Ready program. We’ll show you how to access valuable student resources that will help you succeed in your program—and beyond!

Career Ready Fall Enrollment (April)

Get set for the fall semester! Enroll in the courses that out you on the path to your dream job.
