How will EMT/Paramedic Training courses at JCCC enhance my life or career?
The design of each EMT/Paramedic Training course at JCCC is to meet the needs of all students who require a refresher class or recertification.
Courses are designed to meet the requirements of both the National Registry of Emergency Medical Technicians and the Kansas Continued Competency Plan. JCCC offers every hour in every topic for each certification and licensure level. All courses are approved by the Kansas Board of EMS.
JCCC’s EMT/Paramedic Training classes are presented in a hybrid format. Each course will meet on two separate weekends for pre- and post-testing, as well as hands-on practice. Lecture content is delivered online within the college's learning management system.
Access to a reliable high-speed internet connection is required for successful completion of EMT and Paramedic Training at JCCC. You will also need access to the course, and instructions on how to navigate it will be presented in the first session for each course.
Successful completion of the training program will grant attendees certificates for both NREMT recertification and Kansas recertification at the respective level of the course. Early enrollment for a discounted price is available for each section.
