The Student Success Center
The Student Success Center is a resource for prospective and current students. We offer assistance and direction with key resources, including admissions, enrollment, records, financial aid. Academic counseling, career development and access services are also located here.
The easiest and quickest way to learn what you need is to attend our student orientation offered continuously in three formats.
Attend a new student orientation session in person or online.
New students and students who are not currently attending JCCC must attend a new student orientation session before meeting with a counselor. These sessions provide the information you will need before attending classes.
The session will explain:
- entrance assessments
- special application procedures
- course scheduling
- tuition payments
- financial services
- resources available to help you
- student email accounts
Ways to Attend Orientation - No Registration is Required:
- Live Presentations - Available Monday through Friday from noon-1 p.m. in the Student Success Center on the second floor, of the Student Center. This is the most comprehensive method offered.
- Continuous Videos - These videos are offered continuously in the Student Success Center on the second floor, of the Student Center.
- Online Orientation Sessions - If you can't attend an orientation in person, watch an orientation session online.

International Students
If you are not a U.S. citizen, you will need to complete the International and Immigrant Student Services orientation.
