The more you practice interviewing, the more comfortable and prepared you will be and the better you will do. The following resources can help you improve your interviewing skills and give you an edge over your competition.
Perfect Interview – Using Perfect Interview can help you develop your interviewing skills as you respond to simulated interview questions either by text or video. If you want to use the video capture option to record and playback your responses you will need a webcam on your computer. This interviewing tool is provided for the exclusive use by students, faculty, staff, and alumni of Johnson County Community College. Refer to the Perfect Interview instructions to learn how to use this service and to get started.
Interviewing Guidelines - Interviewing is a skill that requires practice to make a good “first impression.” To achieve success in an interview process, research yourself, the company and the position, practice responses to possible questions, and dress appropriately. This resource will provide you with tips on interview preparation and examples of commonly asked interview questions.
Mock Interviews - Interview preparation done in a formal and recorded practice session with feedback is available for credit students and alumni who have a pending job interview.
