If you’re a first-time college student, your first step is to apply. It’s quick, easy, and there’s no application fee.
If you’ve applied in the last two years, you can go straight to Step 5.

When your application is processed, you'll get an email that includes your JCCC ID number and login information. Need help applying? Stop by the first floor of the Student Center (SC) to talk with an Admissions Representative or call 913-469-4448.
B. Set Up Your Student Account
Activate your student account using your JCCC student email address and temporary password provided in your admission email. Follow the step-by-step guide to activate your student account.
To activate your student account:

C. Complete Your Personal Admission Plan
These requirements must be completed before you can enroll in classes.

Fund Your Education
Financial aid is available to help you pay for college—including scholarships, grants, loans, and the Federal Work-Study program. Visit the financial aid calendar for important dates and deadlines.

Fulfill Placement Requirements
Some courses require prerequisites or placement testing before you can enroll. Visit the Prerequisites and Placement web page for details.

Complete New Student Requirements
Start by taking the online New Student Orientation.
After orientation, you’ll have an onboarding session with a Success Coach who will help you get first-semester ready.

Enroll
Browse credit classes in the credit class search.
To enroll:
Log in to MyJCCC
After logging in to MyJCCC, find the Enroll and Pay card. Select Add/Drop Classes, choose a term, then enroll in your credit classes.

Important: After you enroll, remember to pay your tuition, buy books, and get your JCCC ID.
By registering for classes at Johnson County Community College (JCCC), you agree to assume financial responsibility for all charges billed to your student account. In order to avoid financial responsibility, if you decide not to attend a class, you must officially drop that class within the stated refund periods.
