Find out how to create your Dynamic Forms account and apply for admission to JCCC. Realize the differences between degree-seeking and nondegree-seeking. Hear about the acceptance email, and what important information you’ll receive when you’re admitted to the College. Understand your personal admission plan and the steps you’ll need to take before enrolling in classes.

Discover what famous people are community college alumni. Learn the key differences between a community college and a university. Find out how your community college credits can lead directly to a career or allow you to successfully transfer to a four-year college or university.

Understand the key differences between high school and college. Learn the lingo of higher education through a college terminology discussion. Hear about early college options and discover the many student services and resources available at JCCC.

Parent Programming

Up to 30-45 minutes | All Grade Levels

Discover how to earn college credit while in high school (Advanced Placement, International Baccalaureate and dual credit). Hear about the admissions process for College Now and Quick Step classes. Find out which college courses are FREE for high school students through Excel in CTE. Discover how your career-related classes in high school can earn college credit toward an associate degree at JCCC through the Career Pathways program.
