The JCCC Accounting program provides training in accounting theory and practice, sole proprietorship, partnership and corporate accounting.

This program is designed for:

• students seeking entry level positions
• people already employed who need to improve their skills

Students gain on-the-job experience working in approved businesses. This two-year degree may be obtained by completing the work online.

This degree program has been accredited by the ACBSP (Accreditation Council for Business Schools and Programs). Graduates should qualify for beginning accounting positions such as:

• accounting clerk
• junior accounting technician
• general tax preparer
• bookkeeper

Many of the JCCC accounting program credits are transferable giving you the ability to continue your accounting education at a four-year institution. If you have already earned an undergraduate or graduate degree and wish to qualify to take the CPA and/or CMA exam our accounting courses can help you meet those requirements.
