Each year more than 29,000 students from around the country — and the world — enroll as full- or part-time credit students at Johnson County Community College (JCCC) to earn certificates, associate degrees or credits to transfer to another college or university.

Whether you are interested in earning a degree, changing careers or expanding your skillset, your tomorrow can start here.

Flexible

"My experience here has been fabulous! JCCC has more course offerings and programs than any other community college that I’ve seen." — Venita C., student

With more than 100 different degree and certificate options in 48 programs of study, there is a class for every interest, including liberal arts like English and humanities, emerging technologies like game development and information technology, and specialty areas like hotel and lodging management, chef apprenticeship, dental hygiene and emergency medical science.  And JCCC has transfer and degree-completion agreements with many regional four-year colleges and universities, so while your education starts here, it doesn’t have to end here.

Our flexible schedules include day, evening, and weekend classes. And with on-campus, online and hybrid classroom experiences, it’s easy to balance school, work and family. Smaller class sizes — 25-30 students on average — encourage you to engage, learn and gain real-world, marketable skills.

A True College Experience

“I fell in love with how the instructors taught and the way we could create. Everyone was so supportive." — Wil W., student
