Students must be aware of Testing Services procedures.

To take the test, you must present a current official photo identification card such as a JCCC photo ID, driver’s license, military ID, passport or Kansas State ID.

Approved testing accommodations can be selected through the scheduling links. If you have not been approved for testing accommodations but need them for testing, contact Access Services. If you need additional assistance scheduling a test with approved accommodations, email accesstesting@jccc.edu or call 913-469-4439.

For Math placement assessments students must use their JCCC password (same used for JCCC email).

You are not permitted to use books, notes, calculators, etc. without authorization. Any testing materials provided by Testing Services will be collected upon completion of the test.

Lockers are available to store personal items.

The following items may be brought to a testing appointment but are prohibited during testing and must be stored in a locker.

  • Cell phones
  • Watches
  • All electronic devices
  • Flash drives
  • Food or drink
  • Hats
  • Backpacks, purses and cases
  • Sunglasses
  • Pencil bags/boxes
  • Personal scratch paper

Testing Center personnel visually monitor students during testing, along with cameras. Incidents of noncompliant behavior are reported to the Coordinator of Student Rights and Responsibilities and professor of the course.
