OVERLAND PARK, Kan. — The Kansas Small Business Development Center (SBDC) at JCCC is hosting Digital Marketing Day, a one-day, virtual event from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. Tuesday, May 18.

“Pivot” was the buzzword for 2020 business leaders! As the COVID-19 pandemic took hold, businesses quickly adapted their business models to the changing climate, and with that came a rush of digital marketing. SBDC has taken “pivot” to another level and will be introducing fresh thinking for tomorrow’s customer.

“We are bringing small businesses and industry experts together to discuss how small businesses can truly maximize digital marketing efforts in this dynamic and ever-evolving industry,” said Jessica Johnson, Director, Small Business Development Center. “We’ve seen a surge in client engagement surrounding this topic, from SEO, to SMM, to CRM, to ‘what the heck does all this mean?”’

Two mainstage events, concurrent breakout sessions, networking opportunities, a virtual exhibit hall and two early morning boot camps will feature local and national industry experts from Ovations Digital, Lillian James Creative, Strategy LLC, Jennings Social Media & Martech, Grow with Google, Simple Strat, Crux KC, KLG Social Media, Name Brand IDENTITY and Westerlund.

All sessions will be recorded and available to all attendees.
