March 15 is the priority deadline to complete your FAFSA for JCCC.

The Financial Aid Office begins awarding for the new aid year in early spring. Completing the FAFSA by the priority deadline will give you a better chance to receive the maximum amount of aid for which you are eligible.

You can still apply after the March 15 priority deadline and receive financial aid, but you may need to pay your tuition and fees yourself to hold your classes until you're awarded your financial aid.

Financial aid is awarded by academic year, starting in the fall semester, followed by the spring semester and ending with the summer session. Students must reapply for every academic year by filling out the FAFSA.

If you get financial aid for the fall and spring, August through May, you may get financial aid for the summer session, providing you have funds remaining from your aid year award.

Be sure to complete your FAFSA and the JCCC Scholarship Application every year before the priority deadlines!
