March 15 is the priority deadline to complete your FAFSA for JCCC.

Once you’ve filed the FAFSA for the new aid year, follow up on your financial aid requirements. You’ll be able to see these through your MyJCCC account by mid-January.

Completing the FAFSA by the priority deadline will give you a better chance to receive the maximum amount of aid for which you are eligible.

The Financial Aid Office begins packaging for the new aid year in mid-April.

You can still apply after the March 15 priority deadline and receive financial aid, but you may need to pay your tuition and fees yourself to hold your classes until you’ve accepted a financial aid offer. Be aware of payment deadlines.

Financial aid is packaged by academic year, starting in the fall semester, followed by the spring semester and ending with the summer session. Students must reapply for every academic year by filling out the FAFSA.

If you get financial aid for the fall and spring, August through May, you may get financial aid for the summer session, providing you have funds remaining from your aid year package.

Be sure to complete your FAFSA and the JCCC Scholarship Application every year before the priority deadlines!
