What will I learn in JCCC's Mathematics program?

Math is essential for many careers, especially those in science, technology and engineering. However, all careers require a certain level of proficiency in mathematical skills. The mathematics program at JCCC will improve your skills and knowledge in algebra, geometry, trigonometry, calculus and statistics. While you’ll learn theorems, laws and other rules, more importantly, you’ll develop analytical skills and sharpen your problem-solving ability.

  • Project a business’s profit and loss potential
  • Encrypt or decrypt software
  • Design a building for structural safety or make interior design pleasing to the eye

You can use math classes at JCCC to fulfill bachelor’s degree requirements at another school. Most JCCC classes will transfer to four-year schools, where you can further your education. Classes listed as KBOR Seamless Transfer will transfer directly to all Kansas public institutions that offer that course.
