Construction Management Career Day

This free event brings students and construction industry professionals together to discuss career opportunities, share information and make valuable connections.

Students gain interview experience through informal conversations with employers, and learn about potential internships and job opportunities. In turn, the event helps local companies find future talent.

“This event provides a great opportunity for high schoolers and those exploring career options,” said Steve Bennett, Assistant Professor in Construction Management Technology at JCCC. “They can visit with top-tier contractors in the area, learn about the industry, and find out if construction might be a good fit,” he said.

Anyone considering a career in construction is encouraged to stop by JCCC’s Construction Management table. Faculty will share program information and field questions on how to earn a certificate in one year or an associate degree in two.
