Updated Federal Requirements
JCCC will continue with JCAE programs to serve qualified individuals. In response to current Federal requirements, starting July 28, 2025, students will be required to present the most recent documentation of their current US citizenship or immigration status as part of the course registration process. Students interested in attending JCAE classes should bring their Real ID, birth certificate, U.S. passport, or immigration documents when they register. Visit the US Citizenship and Immigration Services website for a list of commonly used immigration documents.
Offical GED® Test
Official tests are administered at a Pearson VUE testing center. Upon successful completion you will be awarded the Kansas high school diploma.
Pearson Vue does have a cost for taking each GED Official Test - $39 per test, with a total of $156 in testing fees for all four tests.
Please note that there are hundreds of fraudulent offers on internet sites for high school diplomas, GED®credentials and other degrees that are worthless. Don't be misled! JCAE can help you avoid the pitfalls.
GED® Graduation
Upon successful completion of the GED® test, you will be eligible for the GED® graduation ceremony. Please call 913-469-7621 for more information.
