The ABCs of the Music Industry

Wednesday, April 5
noon-1 p.m., CoLab (OCB 100)

Ever thought about starting a record label, or wondered how to market an up-and-coming artist?

As a musician, do you want to make money from your talent, even land a showcase at a label?

Paul Christian has been in the business for 15 years, and he’s here to answer your questions. A songwriter with two original albums, he’s also been a band manager, publicist and tour organizer. Based now in Nashville, Paul tours the country to perform and speak on the ins and outs of the music industry.

Paul will give valuable tips about songwriting, booking and touring, creating a record label and recording original music independently. Come with questions!
