Renata Williams

Adjunct Professor

Renata began her career in Neurodiagnostics in 2015. Her formal EEG training was taught through an accredited NDT program in partnership with the University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics Neurology Department. Renata currently works as the EEG Education Specialist at the University of Kansas Medical Center.

Renata obtained her Bachelor of Science in Healthcare Administration in 2022. She has obtained three credentials in Neurodiagnostics including R. EEG T., CLTM, and NA-CLTM. She primarily works in the hospital setting with experience in ICU, EMU, and outpatient settings.  As well, Renata has extensive knowledge in remote EEG monitoring and report writing.

Prior to her education career, she worked in pediatrics where her love for teaching grew. Renata is passionate about the field of Neurodiagnostics and enjoys sharing her passion with others. She finds value in having experienced, trusted teachers and mentors, and strives to be that for her students. Her driving goal is to help others find their passion within the field. During her free time, Renata enjoys being immersed in a good book or trying out a new activity.
