First Impressions Workshop

Fall | Date and Time TBA | RC 101 C&D

Enjoy a fine dining experience while learning proper business and dining skills and protocol. Give yourself an edge in business and social interactions. Boost your confidence, polish your networking skills and build your professional brand. Students and employees are welcome.

A certified etiquette coach will teach you how to:

  • Properly introduce yourself | RSVP fo
  • Strike up a conversation
  • Conduct business over meals

Student registration: $20 (students may bring one guest for an additional $20)
Faculty and staff registration: $30

Business attire is recommended.

If you are currently enrolled in credit classes at JCCC, you can take the CliftonStrengths Workshop for free. After you complete the CliftonStrengths workshop, you can follow up with CliftonStrengths for Students


Interviewing for Healthcare Programs Virtual Workshop

Are you interviewing for a selective admissions healthcare program? Attend one of our interactive workshops to brush up on your interviewing skills. All sessions are conducted via Zoom.

You’ll explore the following:

  • Preparing for your interview
  • Making a positive first impression
  • Answering commonly asked interview questions
  • Learning about proper interview attire, body language and etiquette

Choices Workshop

This free workshop guides you through the beginning stages of the career decision-making process. During this workshop, you will discover more about yourself. Workshops are offered during the fall and spring semesters.

  • Explore the beginning stages of the career decision-making process
  • Better understand how your interests, personality and values can guide you to your college major and career
  • Learn about resources you can use to research the careers that interest you
