After a nationwide search that brought forth a large pool of highly qualified applicants, JCCC's Presidential Search Committee has identified three finalists for consideration: Feleccia Moore-Davis, PhD; Tony Miksa, EdD; and Curt Oldfield, EdD. The candidates will visit JCCC’s campus next week. Each candidate will hold two community open forum sessions and one student open forum on the day of their visit.
All Johnson County community members, JCCC stakeholders, faculty, and staff are invited to attend the open forums. The same questions will be provided to the candidate at each open forum, and attendees can choose the session that best fits their schedule.
In addition, each visit includes student-only sessions to ensure students have a chance to interact with the candidates in a way that is focused and honors the unique relationship a college president has with the student body.
Monday, February 17 – Dr. Feleccia Moore-Davis
- 9-10 a.m. – Open Forum (open to all) – Polsky Theatre, Midwest Trust Center at JCCC main campus (12345 College Blvd., Overland Park, KS 66210)
- 12-12:45 p.m. – Student Open Forum (exclusively for JCCC students) – CoLab, Office and Classroom Building (OCB) 100, JCCC main campus
- 3-4 p.m. – Open Forum – Polsky Theatre, Midwest Trust Center

Forum attendees will have the opportunity to provide their feedback regarding each candidate through an online survey.
JCCC’s Board of Trustees plans to select the College’s next president during the March 2025 Board Meeting, with a goal to have the new leader in place no later than July 1, 2025.
