Bowne joined JCCC in July 2020; he was the College’s sixth president.
During the regularly scheduled Board of Trustees meeting on December 14, 2023, Dr. Andy W. Bowne, EdD, announced his resignation as president of Johnson County Community College, effective January 2, 2024.
Dr. Bowne joined JCCC in July 2020 and was the College’s sixth president in its 53-year history.
The College plans to announce an interim president in January 2024.
