Student Senate is your voice for all aspects of your education at JCCC.

Made up of five executive officers and 25 senators at-large, Student Senate provides government representation for the student body and allocates funds to student organizations. In addition, Student Senate works with the Center for Student Involvement to provide support and guidance to JCCC’s student organizations. 

So let Student Senate support you. Share your comments, concerns, and issues with us. We are here to serve you! Student Senate meets each Monday from 2 to 3 p.m. in RC 270 during the fall and spring semesters.

Election Application Due: Friday, March 27, at 11:59 p.m.

Campaign Period: March 30- April 8

Election Period: April 6-April 8

Election Results Posted: April 9 by 5 p.m.

Student Senate is a vital part of student life at Johnson County Community College. To be a member is a privilege and an honor bestowed to a select few, and the positions should be nurtured and developed throughout the term in order to receive the maximum benefits from it.

Anyone applying for an executive position or senator re-election must print and complete the signature sheet.

If you have ideas or concerns, such as parking on campus to the smoking policy and beyond, we want to hear from you. Email Student Senate with your feedback or attend our meetings.
